Guideline Implementation

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Academy) mission is to accelerate improvements in global health and well-being through food and nutrition. To support this mission, the Academy’s Evidence Analysis Center develops evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines to enhance the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of nutrition care provided by nutrition and dietetics professionals to improve the health of patients and clients, and the public.

Integrating evidence-based recommendations into daily practice can be challenging. To address these challenges and promote high quality and sustainable integration of evidence-based recommendations in daily practice, the Academy’s Implementation Subcommittee under the Council on Research have developed the following implementation tools:

Implementation Science Manual

  • Introduces implementation-science concepts and methods tailored for nutrition and dietetics practitioners.
