Inclusion Criteria:
RCTs in English language, human-based with abstracts available. Subjects of the RCTs were adults (>18 years), with confirmed diagnosis of head and neck cancer who were currently receiving or had received definitive or adjuvant treatment (radiotherapy or chemo (radiotherapy). The intervention groups within the RCTs had to be receiving individualized nutrition counseling from a dietitian, either pre, peri, or post-treatment, with a specified time-frame for the frequency of the intervention. The RCT had to include at least one of the following outcomes of interest: nutritional status, dietary intake, weight change, treatment interruptions, unplanned hospital admissions, quality of life and morbidity.
