Inclusion Criteria:
6-18 years; studies assessing the effectiveness of either existing or new school-based policy interventions among children between the age of 6 to 18 years aimed at the reduction of NCD risk factors.
Exclusion Criteria:
Studies that assessed the effectiveness of pre-school policy intervention were excluded.
Research Purpose:
The aim of this systematic review was to identify, collate and synthesize the existing literature on the
impact of school policies on major risk factors of non-communicable diseases.
