Diabetes (DM) Type 1 Pediatrics Scoping Review (2019)
Scoping Review
An evidence scoping review is conducted to determine availability of literature examining management of type 1 diabetes among pediatric population. The focus will be on medical nutrition therapy, dietary management (carbohydrate, fat, and protein intake), and self-monitoring of glucose management. Understanding the landscape of pediatric type 1 diabetes management interventions literature could help to inform the need/scope and the development of future systematic reviews and Evidence-based Practice Guidelines in this area.
